About Heidi

I believe art is for everyone and everyone needs it.

Art was my first language and I will continue to grow in fluency as I try new techniques and mature the old.

I studied Painting and Education during my undergraduate years and received an M.Ed. in Visual Arts Education during my grad years. My deep interest began during my undergrad years when I did my practicum under an art teacher named Al Garnache. He inspired me to want to become an art teacher and to also love middle school students.

I live with my husband and son in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. During my free time, I read and make collages. I love to go for long walks along the Arnold Arboretum. I also love cooking for others. My favorites are Korean and Thai food. Bringing together a diverse group of people over a delicious meal brings great joy to my heart.
